Let's make it simple. You buy a Season Tune Card for the season. You can bring any ski or snowboard in for you, your spouse, your family, or your ski house. We punch the card once for every set of skis or snowboard you drop off. If you use it 5 times, you break even, after that you'll save money.

open late on Friday nights, Open early every day
During the peak winter season we stay open late on Friday nights so you can pick up your gear on your way into town. We also open at least 30 minutes prior to the lifts everyday during the winter season.

Do you service all brand skis and snowboards?
Yes, we service all brands of skis and snowboards.
What brand skis do you service?
Short Answer: We service all brand skis.
Long Answer: We are an authorized Salomon, Rossignol, Nordica, DPS, Line, Armada, and Faction Service center.
What brand snowboards do you service?
Short Answer: We service all brand snowboards.
Long Answer: We are an authorized Burton, Lib Tech, Gnu, Salomon, Capita, and Rossignol Service center.
What's the average turn-around time for ski & snowboard service?
Answer: Turnaround is quick—usually a few days, and we do our best for overnight or same-day service if needed*.
*If you arrive after 4pm and request overnight service we will do our best to have your equipment ready by mid-morning the next day but we can not guarantee this during peak season.
Are walk-ins welcome? Or do I need to schedule my service?
Answer: Yes, walk-ins are welcome. Bring your skis or snowboard in for a check up and our mechanics are often able to service your equipment while-you-wait or overnight.
More extensive services may require you to leave your skis or snowboard for longer, especially if you have severe base damage.
If I have a repair that is not covered by the Season Tune Program are estimates free?
Answer: When you bring your ski or snowboard equipment into First Stop Board Barn for service we're always willing to provide a free estimate. Together, you will decide how to proceed with the repair.
Please keep in mind, while our service technicians will do their best to give you an accurate estimate upfront they sometimes will call you once the service has begun if they find other parts that may need to be replaced.
Do you carry snowboard binding replacement parts and offer snowboard binding repairs?
Answer: Yes for an additional fee we can often repair broken snowboard bindings.
We carry many replacement parts for the followings snowboard binding brands:
- Burton
- Union
- Salomon
- Spark R&D
If you're not sure what you need please bring your bindings in for one of our experts to review. We sometimes can repair other snowboard bindings as well.
When is payment due?
Answer: If you pre-pay for a Season Tune Card you'll be set for the season. Additional services you can pay for when you drop off the equipment or when you pick up.
