Hands down one of the best experiences I've had with rentals. They were incredibly accommodating, flexible, and helpful with my group (cabin trips can lead to rough mornings if y'all get what I mean). I also want to give out a special shout out to Kyle, who was not only incredibly helpful for demoing skis, but also took time in his day off to help me the following day. I don't know what more you can ask for in a ski shop - fair prices, great selection, highly attentive, and you can feel the care. Definitely a return customer!

Best ski shop in the state. The staff is super helpful and friendly. They are extremely knowledgeable about the gear and can make recommendation based on your skill level / needs. I bought boots from another shop that were all wrong for me and they helped me get much, much better boots, mold the new boots to my feet, and consign the other boots. I made a mistake in going to a big ski shop to buy the boots the first time around. Much better to buy the boots at First Stop. Their prices are also very competitive - I couldn't find a better deal online for the boots and goggles I bought. Highly recommend this shop for skis, boots, tuning, and gear.
