WE OPENED OUR DOORS IN 1979 AND HAVE BEEN SKIING AND RIDING EVER SINCE.

When we first opened, we had 10 pairs of rental skis, a few hats and a dozen cookies.
Shortly after we brought in outwear, accessories, bicycles and snowboards.
Today, we carry thousands of items that are individually tested and carefully curated
by staff members, team riders, and loyal customers.

We’re proud to stock quality gear that is made to last.

If you’re not sure what it is you’re looking for, stop by or give us a call.
We can help you choose gear that will let you enjoy the mountains as much as we do.
We'd like to think we have Vermont's ideal location for skiing, snowboarding, biking, and paddle boarding. Our family and staff live for the outdoors, typically spending over 100 days a season in the mountains.

Sustainability & Supporting The Greater Killington Community:

Max is the leader of our Sustainability Program at First Stop Board Barn. During the summer months he also manages the weekly Killington Farmer's Market at Killington Sports on Route 4. He organizes multiple farmers, cheese makers, pasta makers, musicians, artisans, and craft makers. The event is every Friday from 3-6pm July - September.

Over the past three years we've installed solar power on the roof of our building to help offset our energy usage. We also have updated 75% of our heating and air conditioning sources to modern technology that is much more energy efficient. Nearly 100% of our lighting is energy efficient as well.

We have partnered with Green Mountain Power to promote Pedal Assist E-Bikes helping more people get outside to cycle. Many of these riders have become avid cyclists and commuters.

Our Consignment Shop helps recycle used equipment that is in good condition. This helps us support many local area school programs and athletic teams with used and new equipment.
