Do you offer emergency service?
Answer: Our ability to do emergency service may vary, depending on needed parts and the current work-load in our service center. Rush delivery of parts is available, however expedited shipping fees will be charged in addition.
What brand skis do you service?
Short Answer: We service all brand skis.
Long Answer: We are an authorized Salomon, Rossignol, Nordica, DPS, Line, Armada, and Faction Service center.
What brand snowboards do you service?
Short Answer: We service all brand snowboards.
Long Answer: We are an authorized Burton, Lib Tech, Gnu, Salomon, Capita, and Rossignol Service center.
I bought my skis/snowboard online. Can you install and/or adjust the bindings to my boots?
Yes, we can service the skis you bought online. If you need us to install or adjust the ski bindings please make sure to bring both of your ski boots as well.
Do you repair BOA® lacing systems?
Answer: Yes, we do carry BOA® repair parts and for a fee can repair most BOA® snowboard or ski boot lacing systems.
What's the average turn-around time for ski & snowboard service?
In general we try to service ski & snowboard equipment overnight if needed. If you arrive after 4pm we will do our best to have your equipment ready by mid-morning the next day.
Are walk-ins welcome? Or do I need to schedule my service?
Answer: Yes, walk-ins are welcome. Bring your skis or snowboard in for a check up and our mechanics are often able to service your equipment while-you-wait or overnight.
More extensive services may require you to leave your skis or snowboard for longer, especially if you have severe base damage.
Are estimates free?
Answer: When you bring your ski or snowboard equipment into First Stop Board Barn for service we're always willing to provide a free estimate. Together, you will decide how to proceed with the repair.
Please keep in mind, while our service technicians will do their best to give you an accurate estimate upfront they sometimes will call you once the service has begun if they find other parts that may need to be replaced.
When is payment due?
Answer: You can pre-pay for ski & snowboard service or when you pick up.
