VERMONT HAS THE BEST FLY FISHING IN NEW ENGLAND
We offer half-day and full-day fly fishing trips tailored for all skill levels. Vermont is home to some of New England's top fly fishing rivers, with the Ottaquechee River just a long cast from the front porch of our shop and other favorites like the Black, White, and Tweed Rivers close by, your guide will share with you some scenic spots to fish.
WHAT TO EXPECT
WE'LL TAKE CARE OF THE GEAR.
We supply all boots, waders, rods, reels and flies. On half-day trips we provide a cooler full of drinks and on full-day trips we can arrange light snacks and sandwiches as well.
Clients may bring their own gear. Your guide will call in advance to determine your experience level and any fishing preferences.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO DO.
Dress comfortably, bring some sunglasses, and get ready to have some fun. *You'll also need to purchase a VT State Fishing License before your trip which you can do online.

We offer full-day and half-day trips. Our guide can handle up to three anglers depending on their skill level. The unique qualities of our local tailwaters allows us excellent fishing year round. Spring and Fall provide the widest variety of fishing options.

What should I wear?
Answer:
Summer Dress Recommendations:
- Long socks for added comfort and warmth
- Comfortable pants (sweatpants or shorts, depending on the weather)
- T-shirt or long-sleeve shirt (if you prefer using a shirt as sun protection)
- Sunglasses (preferably polarized)
- Hat
- Sunscreen
- Rain jacket (just in case)
Late Fall, Winter, and Spring Dress Recommendations:
- Thick, warm socks
- Layering pieces for flexibility
- Fleece-lined or sweatpants for warmth
- Jacket or windbreaker for wind protection
- Rain jacket (in case it snows or rains)

Do you offer guided trips every week?
Answer: We offer guided fly fishing trips with advanced reservations only. We recommend booking at least 72 hours in advance.
Do I have to sign up? Or can I just show up?
Answer: You need to submit a Trip Inquiry above ideally 48-hours in advance to check availability. We can't guarantee availability so we recommend booking in advance.
While I had been fly-fishing before Gunnar gave me some great tips and pointers. We caught some beautiful fish!
