Cold Calls

Cold Calls is a ski film pieced together through conversations, memories, and whatever the season decided to offer. from storm cycles in whistler to deep days in japan, big terrain in norway, and rare sun in alaska, each call brought a different story — some hilarious, some heavy, most somewhere in between. what came out wasn’t exactly planned, but it felt right.

Burton x Red Bull Media House

Paved

Part history lesson, part hangout, part backcountry odyssey, Paved – a Burton and Red Bull Media House co-production – celebrates the passion and soul of snowboarding in raw, wry and light-hearted style. This 2-year film project features some of the best snowboarders in the world.

Blank Collective's

One Step Ahead follows Norwegian skier Bernt Marius as he gets back to doing what he loves: skiing big lines in the Sunnmøre Alps after losing his leg in an accident. The film captures the ups and downs of relearning the sport and working through the mental side of recovery. It’s a raw, honest look at what it takes to keep moving forward when everything changes.

Two veteran professional skiers, hardened and seasoned by tragedy in the mountains seek a rekindling of their aggressive approach to steep terrain by venturing to Norway’s Lyngen Alps with a fearless young phenom--only to find that the mountains have much more to teach them all about risk, reckoning and the thin line between glory and grief.

pre-show restaurants

Taco Fresco

This is the best Mexican spot in town and only a few doors down from the Paramount Theater. We love their tacos, enchiladas, fresh margaritas, cocktails, and draft beers too.

Hop'N Moose

This is a great pizza place for the family to grab a pie or snag a spot at the bar to enjoy a fresh draft beer from local favorite Rutland Beer Works before the show.

Brix Bistro

This is our favorite wine bar in downtown Rutland. This cozy spot has a great wine list, small plates, and comfortable vibe. Just around the corner from the Paramount.

Nonna's

A popular Italian spot next to the Paramount Theater. This spot offers reservations for groups of 6 or more!

Roots

Roots delivers minimally processed, locally grown food, including organic crops and humanely raised livestock. A short walk from the theater but worth it if you're looking for a great farm-to-table experience.

Mad Rose

Craft cocktail and small plates lounge in downtown Rutland. It's a few doors down from the theater and has a nice atmosphere for a pre or post show cocktails, a draft beer, or small bite to eat.
