One Step Ahead

Saturday 11.22.25

Let's face it, movie theaters are dead right?

Surround sound and 100-foot screens are so last decade.
Free gear giveaways? Nobody wants a new snowboard or pair of skis anyway...

Let's Prove them wrong.

That’s why we’re filling the Paramount Theater on Saturday, Nov. 22 for the Quality Ski & Snowboard Film Fest — just to prove how wrong that is.

Epic films. Loud cheers. Killer prizes. Cold beer. Good people.

Get your raffle tickets at the door for a chance to win a new pair of Salomon Skis, a Burton Snowboard, and so much more!

All to benefit Vermont adaptive.

One Step Ahead

One Step Ahead follows Norwegian skier Bernt Marius as he gets back to doing what he loves: skiing big lines in the Sunnmøre Alps after losing his leg in an accident. The film captures the ups and downs of relearning the sport and working through the mental side of recovery. It’s a raw, honest look at what it takes to keep moving forward when everything changes.
