Rossi's Generative Design Grid allows the use of a very thin shell with an exoskeleton to retain rigidity on both cuff and shell. Hike Mode 2.0 has excellent range of motion for either booting or skinning, but locks down securely for the downhill. A new Full Custom Optisensor liner is dramatically pre-shaped around the ankle for superior energy transmission, and can be heat molded for a thoroughly custom fit. Shell Materials

Generative Grid Design – Material thickness is reduced to save weight, while ensuring a sufficiently rigid structure for excellent skiability. This design has also allowed the length of the shell to be reduced by 3mm to create a more compact, slim and high-performance boot.

Dual Core Technology – Harder durometer material is sandwiched between two layers of softer material for smooth flex and comfort. This technology reinforces the flexion and torsion of the lower boot structure to guarantee skiability while retaining unparalleled progressive flex.
