LET’S MAKE A WAVE, LET’S BUILD A BIKE PATH

Ready, set, PADDLE! Join First Stop Board Barn & Killington Yoga for our 3rd Annual Make A Wave Paddle Race. This family friendly race will take place at Farm & Wilderness Barn Day Camp Beach on Woodward Reservoir on Saturday August 31st, 2019.
 

CHOOSE YOUR OWN RACE, GO YOUR OWN PACE!

We will have a Paddle Board and Kayak Division and new classes within in each division this year.

*NEW* 0.5 MILE KIDS FUN RACE

$35 Pre-Register / $50 Fee
A 0.5 mile Kids 12 & Under Fun Race that will be easier for the little ones to make it around the course!
 

*THE ORIGINAL* 1.0 MILE FAMILY FRIENDLY BEGINNER RACE

$45 Pre-Register / $60 Fee
A 1.0 mile Family Friendly Beginner Race that will be short enough for a beginner paddler to complete.
 

*NEW* 3.0 MILE MAKE A WAVE CHAMPIONSHIP RACE

$55 Pre-Register / $70 Fee
A 3.0 mile Championship Race for intermediate and advanced paddlers looking to challenge themselves against other competitors!
 
Event Fees Includes: Race Timing, BBQ, Live Music, Silent Auction, Great Prizes, and a Donation to the Bike Path Fund!
 

LIVE MUSIC, GOOD FOOD, SILENT AUCTIONS, & FUN FOR ALL!

The party moves to First Stop Board Barn after the race for a BBQ with awards, live music, a silent auction, and 50/50 raffle! If you don’t want to race but would like to support the cause you can purchase a BBQ meal ticket for $20, $10 of which will be donated to the cause!

9:00am - 9:45am - Registration, Check-In, Pre-Race Warm Up
9:45am - Racer Meeting
10:00am - Race Start
12noon - 2pm - BBQ, Live Music, & Awards
 
*Please note this event will take place sunshine or not! If we don’t like the weather, we'll wait a few minutes because it’s always changing in Vermont!
 

100% OF PROCEEDS WILL BE DONATED TO THE BIKE PATH FUND!

We at First Stop Board Barn are developing a plan for a multi-purpose bike path that would eventually connect the town of Killington to Bridgewater, Plymouth, Woodstock, Ludlow, & Beyond! A safe, car-free multi-purpose bike path is much needed in our area, so come out, have fun, and support this positive cause!
